Pets are not your whole life but they make your life whole...

I strongly agree in this simple yet very true quote that i read somewhere. Pets will not be your whole life, there will always something or someone that would occupy your time and heart but having a pet makes our life worth living. I know you will agree with that, actually i myself has been a living example, i never had a pet before so i use to laugh at those people who are very attached to their pets but i was changed when my lady boss gave me and my boyfriend a Pomeranian puppy. TWe never know that this cute little thing could make a lot of difference. In an instant he became part of our life and he really went straight into our heart. He is our stress buster and our dear little playmate. Now we treat him like our own child and we know that our lives will never be the same again and will never be complete if he's not with us.

Any book you loved when you were a teen?

It seems to me that all of us can name stories we loved when we were little. And them for those that like to read, there are many books for adults that each one of us cherishes and rereads. But when we reached our teen, it was not so easy to find a book. Some were too childish (and I read them but didn´t comment with my friends[em]lol[/em]), other´s were really books for adults and I took a lot of thinking to read them then. I read the "Anne of Green Gables" books when I was starting my teens and loved them. But I prefered the first one: I did not like Anne to turn into a normal lady. I reread several times the books the Laura Ingalls wrote. I confess that I still read them. My first "adult" book was Demian by Hermann Hesse. After that I also read Sydharta. Gissi outside the Shop

Do you find crafters to be more attractive

In a day and age where computers and other technology rule I was wondering if anyone found or finds it attractive when some one they are with can use their hands to craft different items. This is for everyone by the way so if you ladies think it's hat that your man can wood work, paint, crochet or whatever let us know. Not only why but what they do. For the guys the same goes for you, what does your lady do and why is it a turn on?

what is your impression of a person not so close to you and calls you "baby"? a friend was upset after reading a chat conversation of the man addressing the lady "baby". like "how are you, baby? how was the reunion with your friends?" he finds it so disrespectful. he said people in porn sites use the word in addressing the other. can you please share your views? ann[em]happy[/em]

animal cruelty, i think the person should have been sent to prison

on the news in our country uk, london, there was an animal rescue programme on. this youth under 18 but over 16 years old, deliberately shot the male swan and his babies, leaving the female swan laying on the floor with a bullet in her neck being left for dead basically. the animal rescue saved the lady swam, but they said she was traumatised cause of the loss of her babies. this youth only got a fine for £60, that was it. i think that's pretty disgusting really. if thats all they got to pay they will think nothing of it. they probably even gave them time to pay it, like on a weekly or something. this youth deliberately killed swans in the park for a laugh. they were bleeding and suffering.

Do you sometimes take an instant dislike to someone?

I don't usually do this, but I did with a particular acquaintance I met recently, and I shocked myself. (Actually feel a bit bad for posting this, I'm a mean mean person..[em]blush[/em]) - but need to get it off my chest!Well, my first impression of this young lady was that she looked a bit false. Very blond, a fair bit of make-up, kind of OTT clothing for the particular occasion, and not very natural looking. Then I found out that she works for a well-known designer fashion house. Rather tactlessly I suppose I told her that I'm not at all into designer clothes. That I don't see the point of them, and that I see clothes more as purposeful things; keep you warm and stop you being naked. What do you call an adult person of the female gender? Today I was just wondering... I remember that I was always told "woman" was impolite, however, I wonder if this differs around the wordl? Is there such a thing as too much hand washing?

I know this lady who every time she uses the restroom uses a paper towell to open the door for fear of germs. She also has a can of lysol and sprays her desk all the time. I told her there are germs everywhere and you cant avoid them. Now heres the weird part, she is always sick and I never get sick. What about those so called germs lady?????
