i prefer rock or jazz when i'm stressed out. It really drive teh stress out of me. I also like soft meaningful songs (like madonna's frozen) when i feel like thinking philosophical - LOL;)
Being in the toilet gives the privacy. People tend to disturb you less when you are there. It's your private time. So, it is best to have some books around. Or magazines. I have known some who leave books in the toilet. Like a mini library. Why not? It is a good idea. I read novels and newspapers in the toilet, but I am not one who can spend a long time there. Not comfortable. Sometimes I force myself to read at least one chapter before I decide that my time is up in there.I heard that Madonna writes lyrics in the toilet. Yup. You heard that right.
i agree. there are excellent music during the 80s. duran duran, spandau ballet, pet chop boys, depeche mode, madonna, cyndi lauper, michael jackson, reo speedwagon, wham, the cure, joan jetts and the balck heart, pat benetar, go-gos, b52, vitamin z, culture club, whitney houston, van halen, bon jovi, cool and the gang, gene loves jezebel and a lot more that made the 80s music unforgettable, they all have different styles that made them marked. the hits of today are more on sex and violence and it is no longer with fun
I was a 1980's teenager so I'm behind you 100% on this one![em]thumbup[/em] So many bands to mention too..... Wham, A-Ha, Poison, Bon Jovi, The Cure, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Michael Jackson, Boy George, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Eurythmics, The Communards, Belinda Carlisle, Phil Collins, 1927, Crowded House, Queen..... The list is practically endless!
I have not got very much respect for her. It is like you can only be 'cool' if you dress like a teenager. That is SO not true. You can be cool even dressing like an old lady - it is about the attitude and styling. Match your age and feel free. But do not dress like someone you are not, and Madonna might 'feel' like a teenager - but she should not dress like it, because she is not a teenager. I mean, for gods sake the woman has kids! I would not be proud of being her daughter. I could not imagine my mom doing teenage clothing. I mean my mom has style, that fits her age.
Madonna is a real diva. I like her songs very much, especially Material Girl, La Isla Bonita and Frozen. She has a great voice. I love China[em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em]
I want to say there is no one most of you would know, since that I am not from America or Europe.. but I just remember. I do have someone famous born where I am living in. The Queen wears his product. Madonna does too. Paltrow wears it too. I am talking about Jimmy Choo. How silly of me not to remember this famous figure. Yes, I am from the state of Shoes.:)
Dear, I can't even get more than 2 to comment on my started discussion. That was how pathetic the discussion I had started on. Anyway, I did stick to general topic, such as Madonna and also rain. But I guess I don't have the magic to attract contributors. But 50? I don't think I have the energy to reply all.
If your talking about the musical impact that they bring, I'll go for Madonna. She is a legend! But I also love Mariah! She's a good singer. NO DOUBT that she can really sing!Happy MyLotting!
I just heard on the news that the lives of Britney Spears and Madonna have been threatened in a book that was just released-if they don't convert to Islam. The writer stated that they are spreading satanic messages and threatened that their heads would be cut off if they don't convert. I find this to be very frightening and disturbing.
