My aunt really got me interested in Madonna. I found her Immaculate Collection CD and started listening to it. I just love all of Madonna's songs. I can listen to them anytime. I get other songs stuck in my head too. I got that new Black Eyed Peas song stuck in my head. lol.
Yes! I sometimes annoy my children if they have to be around to hear it, like in the car. The song always changes as to whatever my mood is. I have played James Taylor "Your Smiling Face" so much I think my kids remembered all of the words, lol. Then I remember when I played Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder" that song really got me going for a while there. Now I can't stand to hear it anymore. Other songs I'll play over and over and then won't listen to for a while but I will eventually listen to them again just not as much as at first. I love Madonna's stuff from the 80's. I can remember when we first got MTV and her video "Like a Virgin" came on, it was the best! I wish MTV could be what it once was instead of putting on the trash shows they put on nowadays.
I'm dancing, I'm dancing! Madonna's great. I tend to play new albums until I get so sick of them I can't stand to hear them anymore - which is a shame! At the moment I'm listening to The Audreys - 'You and Steve McQueen' - from their 'Between Last Night and Us' album. Cool.
Hi wolfie - obviously you are crazy over Madonna lol - however unfortunately I am not a very big fan of her music. Of course I think everyone plays a song over and over again when they like it. Personally I do it so that I can learn the words of the song at the end of the day - it feels like a small accomplishment for me.:)Thanks for sharing your love of Madonna and happy myLotting!
I am also a Madonna fan, but am not real familiar with her recent things. She is a talented woman and even more important, she is a smart woman and has made a great life for herself in the business. I have a song that I love to play over and over, though, and that is Amazed by Lone Star. It was a "song" of a guy and I, but I like the song, regardless. I'm usually alone when I am playing it over and over, so no complaints. Don't think you would want ME dancing with you, but hope you have fun with it!! LOL
I do tend to play songs I love over and over again. And just now there are a few which this applies to. Poker Face, Lady Gaga, I love the verse where she speaks about her glue, and Hot and Cold, Katy Perry, I can almost hear her at the "your up and your down" bit wishing it was me. Agnes, Release Me, its a bit more upbeat than the Engelbert Humperdink version first released when I was a lad, a tiny wee lad.
I also play quite a lot of Bob Dylan over and over and over and over, but Yvonne doesnt mind because she likes a bit of Bob as well. Its weird, he has done all these great songs, classics, and the one I play over and over the most is a cover version of Joni Mitchell Big Yellow Taxi.
Yvonne likes Madonna, and she plays Like a Virgin over and over, and its really great. Trust me on that.
Oh, another track that I play quite often these days is When Love Takes Over, Kelly Rowland is so...
I am not a Madonna fan, but I like her musics. I like the song take me to your heart by Michael Jackson, I would like to play it over and over. When I was moody, I would like to listen to this music as it can take me to the past sweet days. Many of my friends would find that once I like a music,I would play it over and over.
Hi Wolfie, I have a cd in the car which has some of my favourite songs on for when I'm driving along and I have one of them which comes on after about every 3 songs as I never tire of hearing it; Eric Clapton's 'You Look wonderful tonight'. Think it's the greatest hits of Madonna which is in the car and I love 'Papa Don't Preach' but am out of date with anything more modern than that from Madonna.
Sorry, can't dance with you whilst driving!
Music is a wonderful way of healing the heart or making you feel better. I find music very therapeutic, I suffer from depression and sometimes I really have bad days and the first thing I do is switch on my Itunes on the computer. Most of my music is from the 80s (showing my age!!!) I also put on different types of music dependent on my mood. I listen carefully to the lyrics as they can be so powerful and profound. I love Madonna's Frozen that song was written for me! I also love Michael and Janet Jackson's scream, gets rid of my frustration. A great combination for me when I go to the gym is to have my Ipod and I feel so damn good afterwards.

We all have heard about this young and pretty singer who was doing so well in her career and who had recently blown away all the blessings that had come her way due to a series of misconduct that had been all over media? If she is going to make a comeback, pick up the pieces and start again, do you think she will be as successful? I have a poll to this effect I hope you could find the time to click your answer and possibly leave your comments at http://everydaywear.blogspot.com There is only one question there with some answers for you to choose from and also a space for your comments to maybe qualify your answer.
There once was a man from Aruba
Who played everyday on his tuba
Till he no more could hear
So he cut off his ear
And now he has taken up scuba(can you make up a better one?)
