I think you are right about that. I know there was one lady who always responded to my discussions and we would talk back and forth until it started getting off topic. But those discussions were a lot of fun too. I hope I can start getting like that again. Thanks for bringing this up.

John Edwards To Admit Paternity of Ex-Mistress's Child?

A whlie ago, when the story first borke and the forum was filled with posts on it. I remember answering generaly that Edwards was a private citizen and it was really not a public story, at leat for me. I do feel bad for Mrs. Edwards, very much so in fact. From what little I do know of her she is a gracefull lady and very dedicated to her family. It is disgusting that this is how John showed his "gratitude" for that.But I didn't post on this mainly because I didn't think it was a story for the public. I think the press should just leave the Edwards' family alone.

I was wondering if there's any political scandal in your hometown.

Well the city I live in is always in scandle. But mayor is an idiot and has make national news several times. The most recent politics happenings is that someone employeed by the city (our city is way in the red and trying to collect money anyway it can) enforced a city code of "no parking on any grass or gravel". The problem was that this lady had her car immobilized by the city courts, it was not to be moved by anyone unless they had a court order. (She had a bunch of traffic tickets) So, anyway, the enforcer guy on orders from the mayor had her car towed, now, he must appear in court and explain why he violated a court order and why he should not be held in comtempt of court. Appartently when the courts towed this lady's car to her home one wheel was on her grass. The lady also explained to this enforcer guy that the car was under court not to be moved and had a court club (locking...

I would say hello and most probably make a few meaningless joke, which I do when I am nervous. Sweat buckets, also a thing I do when I am nervous. Pretend as if getting stuck in the Box is something that I do every day. Generally make a nuisance of myself. And when I do get out of the situation I will call my self a MAN in the control of the situation! A threat to my life is more important than the Cleopatra lady.

Go to work sick or stay home?

I used to get paid by the hour, and it would cost me money to take time off sick. I have also never had a lot of money to waste, so the work was needed. Consequently I would drag myself off my proverbial death-bed to get into the office if I had to. Three or four years ago I caught a heavy cold, and dragged myself into the office in the hope that they would stick me away in one of the huddle rooms if they do not like the idea of me being there. The lady in charge of the project took one look at me, and in no uncertain terms sent me home for the rest of the week. Nice lady, but you did not argue with her!Anyone who has read my previous posts will already know this story, but anyway - In May 2008 I was working for a client in Paris, France when I started getting severe pains in the chest. I assume by home town, you mean where I am currently living (my original home town is 1,000 kilometers away, and in another country).Nope, I often think that there ought to be given Frankfurt's geography - the main railway station and the financial district are separated by the city's sleazeball red-lights district, and there would be plenty of opportunities for some of the financial big wheels to get caught up in scandals there, but I have heard nothing along those lines since we moved here in 2004.Meanwhile the lady mayor of the city (a traditional conservative in the European mould, and 50-odd years old) hardly ever gets her name in the press for anything other than policy matters. As none of the German banks that got caught up in the American property bubble crash last year are based in Frankfurt, nothing on that front either.

How Is The Government Getting Private Email Address?

It's the White House--and Yes--white house doesn't mind letting you know that Big Brother is watching, Obama has more than once hinted the rules do not apply to him...he's a lawyer, I guess is his reasoning. What I think their doing is using software that basically scans the internet and collects every email address, maybe they collect them accordingly but many people do this. Maybe your information has been sold to them? I stopped giving my phone number to stores I shop at, and yes, some will ask you. I did this last week I visited the beach while at the outlet. I told the lady, no thanks, and she seemed to be offended but I explained my information could be sold and she made it clear to me their 'not supposed to do that' but unless I see it in writing, Im opting out.
