If people took the time to learn how to properly shoot and take care of their guns, maybe criminals would think twice about pulling theirs out. The criminals already have their guns. We can't get them back. Arming ourselves (responsibly) is sometimes our only defense. Oh by the way, mass shootings in Texas? UT tower shooting in 1966 killed 14. Luby's massacre in Killeen in 1991 killed 23.
LOL..well you can actually blame we pagans for the symbolisms of the Easter eggs and bunny symbol. The Spring Equinox is celebrated by the ritual of Ostara....it was pagans who used the symbols of painted eggs as a sign of rebirth and the symbol of the "bunny"--when Christianity was coming into "power" to entice pagans to give up their pagan ways, Christianity also adopted the Easter egg/bunny symbols...in fact MANY of the Christian "traditions" are really pagan onesHere's an excerpt from this article...read the whole thing though herehttp://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=usma&c=holidays&id=1991{NOT a referral link but a link to this article about easter/ostara}
[i]Because the Equinox and Easter are so close, many Catholics and others who celebrate Easter often see this holiday (which observes Christ's resurrection from the dead after his death on Good Friday) as being...
Wrong link... although that story just pissed me off again. It is time for the world to get over the idea that Islam is the reigion of peace. It is the religion of tyranny, and the UK is about to go under because of their acceptance of these people. We had best take steps now ourselves, since the 0bamunist is actively trying to include Muslims in our government. http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93015"J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, sifted through more than 300 names as part of the search."It was mostly under the radar," Williams said. "We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community."Ellison is serious about his faith. He made the pilgrimage to Mecca with the sponsorship of the Muslim...
When I was 18 years old I returned from my travels in Europe to job as a container marketing controller for a ship brokers. I sorted bookings for cargo that was going to the Far East. There were three other people in my team, the secretary and the boss. It was the recession that changed the company and I alongside many others was made redundant. It was sad because the year before I had bought a tiny cottage. I tried finding another job but in that economic downturn that proved difficult. I let my home out for one year and got a working holiday visa for Australia. I bought my airline ticket for a trip around the world and off I went. I returned home over one year later and got married then had a baby son. I began studying to become a primary school teacher and four years later I started my career in teaching. I know a guy that was laid off work for two months then the firm invited him...

Despite the recession I still went ahead with my vacation in January 2009 to South Africa. I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route. Since travel is my top hobby I would still do it even if I was very poor. My finances did go down considerably after my trip to New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands. So I decided to buy a cheap flight and take my tent with me. I managed a two week trip to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. I didn't spend much money at all. Sadly since 2008 a few airlines have ceased trading and the one we flew to South Africa was half full. Employees of the airlines want all of us that like travel to keep on traveling. Many of the local people in destinations like Thailand need money that they get through tourism. I always feel happy when traveling. I saw a recession in 1991 and here we are again in another economic downturn. That is sad but enjoyment in...
I went to DC to protest the Gulf War in 1991 and to march for gay/lesbian rights in 1993. I've also been to a few protests of the current war in my hometown. I don't think protesting helps much, but it's fun to at least be around some like-minded people for a few hours.
The most amazing thing that happened in my life is the moment I got saved or I got born again or experienced spiritual rebirth. It remains the most unforgettable happening in my life. I don't think so if I will still forget the event that God became so real in my life. It was one christmas season then, December of 1991 when my eyes were completely opened to the truth of God's Word that I was a terrible sinner and in need of God's mercy. After realizing my sinfulness, I surrendered my life completely to the Lord Jesus. After this, I experienced an unspeakable joy that I cannot explain and felt God's very strong presence that I cannot expalain. Sibce then I become a true worshipper of God in Spirit and in truth. All my selfish ambitions are gone I started living for God's will.
We had dial up from 1991 until the spring of 2004. We had no other choice here. There was no cable and we couldn't afford satellite. We didn't get DirecTV until 2007, so that was out of the question. Our phone company finally let the people in our area hook up to DSL, although the hub is farther away than it should be for good connections. So we get next to the slowest hook up, but man, it's much faster than dial-up. We have had the SLOWEST dialup - to almost the highest. Hardly anyone could ever get 56K, we were getting 48 to 49K's when we got off dialup. I wish they'd build a hub closer to us so we could get the DSL service my son is getting from the same phone company! His is lightning fast!
Yes this lady had a very busy day, the doctor told me my son was going to be born on January 1,1991, but he was born december 23,1990, I didn't have any big plans or any thing, I was living in another state at that time, I wanted to go back to the state I was born and raised in, at some time I did get back home, and boy was I glad to be back home.[em]happy[/em]
