If it were me and I found a purse like that, I probably would have gone through it, trying to find the owner's phone number, too. I've had things stolen from me and I've lost things, too, and I know how it feels. The lady who lost this purse is probably worried sick about it. She could have just dropped it or something. Do You Like To Wear Denim?

I love denim. I wear jeans almost every single day. It is so comfortable and it actually looks good on me. I don't have any denim jackets or denim tops of any kind, but I love my jeans. I've worn jeans for several years but was starting to go for more slacks until I found a different line of denim jeans that actually fit me the way that a pair of jeans should fit a person. I'm a plus sized lady and finding the right cut for my body was nearly impossible until Lane Bryant came out with their Right Fit sizing.

The "morning after pill " morally wrong?

it is not morally wrong. the lady at the pharmacy should be fired! any judgmental person should be fired. that includes the doctor who wasn't any help. i am pro-life but even if there was conception, it's not even considered human in scientific circles. this is not to demean the conception but technically, it is called a parasite, because it is a foreign object. we should value more the ones that are living and suffering.

Hmmmm. Good question. I love seeing local politics being brought up and discussed in here, doesn't happen often enough. I live in a pretty small town, a little over 2000 people. Our local system of government consists of 3 elected selectmen, who hire a town manager. A number of other positions are elected as well, tax collecter, treasurer, etc. I am thinking pretty hard about this and I am hard pressed to come up with anything you could call a "political scandal" in recent memory. About 5 years ago, one of our selcetmen, was having a dispute with the town manager, Joyce McGee (awesome lady by the way, real decent person) Anyway, This selectman isn't exactly known for tact. In a conversation with someone, he said words to the effect of "she needed to be bent over a couch". Lol, this nearly resulted in a fist fight between He and Joyces husband from what I understand, lol. Other than...

What do you think if you see a guy carrying his girlfriend's bag?

It is absolutely sweet, I do that too but my partner was the one who recognized that it was not right to ask me to carry her handbag so she always asked to have it back after a temporary holding because she has to try on the new pair of shoes etc. It is not us who refuses or not to refuse to hold the bag but it is the lady who knows what if we should carry one.Cheers!

Etiquette?

Does good etiquette still have a place in society today. For example, I frequently get a sneer from a young woman if I hold a door open for them (they think I'm a sexist pig). Does it matter if you pass the port to the right, instead of the left? Should you dress for dinner? Does anyone know the difference between 'black tie' and 'white tie'? My Landlord is a Rotten Witch!

Does anyone else have a mean, rotten landlord? This was my third time renting a place, and every single time I felt like i got screwed out of my security deposit. In addition, all of a sudden when I move out, the landlord starts getting nasty with me and giving me short, rude answers. She is a big liar and a b*tch, plain and simple. Does anyone else out there have any landlord horror stories???
