Have you heard of this this movie?
Its an animated movie that came out in 1991 or 1992. I remember seeing it at the Video rental store when I was a kid- I rented it and re-rented it so many times, I absolutely loved it.
I can't really remember what its about, thinking about it now. All I remember is it starting out as in live action scenes, with this boy. And then a big rainstorm came, and the boy turned into a cartoon kitten in a coonskin cap and the movie became animated. I also remember the villain being an owl.>w<
I started a discussion a day or two ago about 90's cartoons in the "Watching Television" interest her on mylot, I guess that prompted my memory of this movie.

With the impending exit of LKY from the political scene, someone so synonymous with pap, it could be a turning point for SG. Like I said in my last discussion, I went to see my parents on Thursday after getting my hair cut and the next thing I knew, dad said my oldest brother had called him and told him about the incident in Ft. Hood. Since hubby and I had been stationed there from 1991 - 2002, 10 years, it was quite a shock so we went to see about it on the news. Of course we were dumbfounded about it all! And since we had lived there for so many years, it really hit home. Ft. Hood has seen so many tragedies that it's almost surreal and now this!? Hubby and I have known several people that were killed from helicopter crashes to car wrecks to suicide to murder/suicide, oh the list goes on and on. If you have a heart at all, you never get used to it. My heart just aches for the families!! Oh my heart just aches!
I've been in such a daze for the past few weeks and Thursdays incident didn't help a bit but I'm...
In your home? In your extended family? In your community? In your state? In this country?I think people are having to make choices between necessities. It's one thing when people have to forgo non-necessities like not go to a movie so you can have food or not pay for 100 channels on tv because you won't be able to pay for something that is a necessity. But another when people have to decide which necessity to pay and which one not. Like get medication or put gas in the car for work. Buy groceries or make part of a payment for the electric bill, etc. We're having to let our barn fall in (no animals in it)because we can't afford to brace it up. Yet some places have worked on answers or are working on answers to a lack of money. They are following the example of Ithaca, NY. Ithaca prints some of its own curency. You can find out more by going to www.ithacahours.org and clicking on the...
I discovered something rather disturbing the other day and I wonder how many ppl know about it, don’t know about it or even care. I called my doctor and asked for a copy of my medical records. Considering I’ve been going to him since I moved here in 1991, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. The first woman I spoke to told me that another doctor or a lawyer could request it b/c if I asked for it, I’d have to pay for the copy. Then I called back and asked how much the copy would be and she transferred me to another receptionist. Now it gets good. This one tells me that b/c of the new HIPA and Privacy Act laws that it’s a lot of hassle and grief to make a copy of a medical file but any doctor or lawyer can require a copy and they’ll be happy to send one. Wait a minute, if it’s a hassle and grief to make one for me, why wouldn’t it be a hassle and grief to make one for a doctor or a...
