Definitely sounds like Switch, made in 1991 and featured Jimmy Smits and Ellen Barking. I think Smits character was called Walter Stone and I'm sure it starred Lorraine Bracco as well. But it's been a few years since I saw it.
The idea of the Internet is credited to Sir Tim Berners-Lee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Berners-Lee The first Web site built was at CERN and was first put online on 6 August 1991. It provided an explanation about what the World Wide Web was, how one could own a browser and how to set up a Web server. It was also the world's first Web directory, since Berners-Lee maintained a list of other Web sites apart from his own.Since he first proposed the idea some time between June and December 1980, it could be said that the World Wide Web took 11 years to develop.Although the words 'Internet' and 'World Wide Web' are often used interchangeably, they are different things. The Internet is the mechanism by which many computers all over the world are connected; the World Wide Web is a very large set of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet and depends on a protocol...
I love this question, Braveheartok103! For me, having no choice but to work for someone else is not an option. You see, I got very ill (stroke) in 1991. My husband took off a year of work to help me get back to the best that he could hope for. My insurance dropped me, my husband's job was filled by another applicant, and we were flat broke. When I did get back to where I could work for someone else I didn't think it would be fair to ask a potential employer to hire me for I may have many sick days, I could possibly have another stroke (I did 2 years ago), I cannot always drive, and I demand a large salary. So what did I do? I started my own business. When I got bored of that, I started another one. Some of my businesses paid my mortgage for many months. None of these businesses were multi level of any kind. You see, I don't believe in starting something that makes the person who brought...
The inception of celebrating a birthday is believed to be rooted in paganism. The Encyclopedia Americana (1991 edition) states: "The ancient world of Egypt, Greece, Rome, and Persia celebrated the birthdays of gods, kings, and nobles." In the book book The Lore of Birthdays[New York: Henry Schuman, Inc., 1952.] it is stated "Mesopotamia and Egypt, the cradles of civilization, were also the first lands in which men remembered and honored their birthdays. The keeping of birthday records was important in ancient times principally because a birth date was essential for the casting of a horoscope."Early Christians did not celebrate birthdays. Early church fathers believed them to be heathen. Also based on superstition people believed that on ones birthday that a person could be helped by good spirits due to the fact that our friends and families are suppose to help protect us from evil...

I still have a Trivial Pursuit game given to me for Christmas in 1991.One memory that sticks out is when I played the "Password" home game with my brother as a kid. The password I had to convey was "permanent," but I accidentally got it mixed up with the word "pregnant." I kept giving passwords like mother, baby, child, etc. without success.
I was thinking about this yesterday for some reason. I am pretty sure I would have to study first if I wanted to pass the written test. I don't remember details of things like: how many feet before the intersection you're supposed to signal, how many feet away to stop for a school bus, etc. Wow I decided to check out the driver's manual for my state online (the last time I looked at it, around 1991, "on line" still meant "waiting on line"[em]lol[/em]). A few things have changed, such as the mention of EZpass (electronic toll) lanes, cell phones, and a "campaign against road rage".(People are angrier now!)I almost think they should make everyone retake the test every 10 years or so. I can tell when I drive, that most drivers in NJ have no clue who should get the right-of-way at an intersection, how to make a right turn on red (which is allowed here, after a full stop, if it is...
I live on the edge of a coastal town in the south west. I have lived here since 2005. Before that I lived in village three miles from a historic city in the south east. I lived there since 1991 but I left it to travel around the world, go to university and take up my first teaching position. Now I live close to my mum and sister but they used to be one and a half and two hours away from me respectively. Train fares are expensive in my home country so I am keen to go overseas rather to go back to where I used to live. I wonder what it was like when you lived in Haiti. I love tropical weather but I live in a cold country.
Yes i do use a seperate soap. However there is nobody in my house except me as i am single so i do not have much to worry about. My brother and his family were staying with me till 1991 and they used seperate soaps too. then they moved to Canada so i was on my own with my mom. Both of us had our own soaps. Then she passed away 3 years back so now i am all alone . Just a month back my brother and family came for a visit and they brought their own soaps. It is always better to have our own individual soaps since one may have skin ailments which can be passed on to others or the other way round. It is hygeinic to have our own soaps.
