Do you think you can trust a male house keeper?

Its kinda creepy for me that a friend of mine have a male maid, a male house keeper, I dont know why he was secure about it. I think female maids are more easier to trust. His wife hired a male house keeper she always heard that female house keepers seduce their male employer. I actually have a maid and I can trust her in many things. But my future wife to be wont be concerned about her because she was an old lady with 6 kids. What do you think of having a male maid? Do you think they can clean the house as good as their female counterparts or will they be a mess, since they cant do house hold chores.

[em]cry[/em]I was in the pharmacy today when an elderly lady came to pick up her medications. She was atleast 70 years old, living on the small social security she received each month. When the pharmacy told her how much her medications would be, shehad only enough to pay for one of them. She did not get her othre medication.[em]cry[/em]If I had have had the money I would have gotten it for her.It almost brought tears to my eyes because she was almost in tears as to what she was going to do.I think it is so sad that people, especially the elderly,must choose vetween their medications or food or medications.Even Medicare isnt wnough for many of these people to pay for all of the medications they NEED.What do you think about this? Shouldnt we do more to help these people? What can we do?

Are You Glad That Lady GaGa Has Made Belly Warmers Fashionable?!

[em]lol[/em] For a long time now I have had to wear belly warmers (large knickers that do NOT go underneath my belly-button) lol.I am afraid I go for comfort above all else and sexy underwear...er, what's that? I'd rather go without![em]lol[/em]Marks & Spencer are probably the biggest sellers of big knickers and they couldn't understand why "the younger generation" were buying them so were selling far more than usual.It's down to Lady GaGa! Because she wears them, the young girls want to wear them too. Maybe not in the way I wear them but I try not to think about that!Hoorah! I never thought I was so fashionable.[em]whistle[/em]

if a relative kept reminding you of your weight would you get peed off with them

a few times when uncle has seen me, he will say things about my weight, if i eat a small bar of chocolate or anything he will say, maybe you should lose a bit of weight and you are the same size as so and so, which at the time was this lady i could not stand to be honest and i found it an insult that he even compared me with her, as she was a low life who conned people who got to know my dad, its a long story. he said i was the same build as her and when i met her even my husband said i wasnt, she was big and bulky. i think sometimes that people should keep their comments to themselves really. and think its rude as well. who else has had this.

do men and women think the same or total opposite? double standards

do you think that men and women think the same or not? for example of double standards here. if a lady sleeps around she can be referred to as cheap. but if a man does it he is one of the lads! if a lady has a drink problem people look down on her, but if its a man people take no notice. its ok for a man to ask a woman out, but if a woman asks a man out people can assume he again is cheep maybe? not in every case, but people forget its not the 1930's anyway and everyone has free will. if a woman is sitting in a bar alone, people will look at her, or feel sorry for her or think she is strange, but ok for a man to do this, no one takes no notice. again of the double standards.

Your Last Hair Appointment!

Hi everyone! I recently got my hair done and I decided to be different! Before I was keeping my hair short to medium length because it's thick, but I decided to grow it out. So when I went for my hair appointment the lady that does my hair suggested long layers and I am so glad I went with that I love it.[em]wub[/em]I also wanted to get some color in my hair because my hair is a dark brown blah boring color![em]lol[/em] I decided to go a really dark brown (almost black) and I got blond and purple streaks put into it too! I must say I was kind of scared going dark because I normally would go red and I actually haven't seen my natural hair color since I was a teenager, but I LOVE it! The contrast of the black and blond rocks and I am so happy with it![em]thumbup[/em] So when was the last time you went to the hair salon? What did you have done? Cut? Color? Do tell! Last weekend i went to my girl's house, she was very nevious, and then she told me that her Grandma was very sick in the hospital, so that night the old lady died, and she was very sad about this, i tried to encourage her, but she was very different with me, i dont like funerals or anything like that, and i barely know the lady, but i was with my girl at the cementery and supporting anything she may need, she behave like i wasnt there, and i started to feel very unconfortable with her attitude. So that night after the traditional prayers that people usually do in my country (im not religious by the way),she got some sleep, and i was with my cousins, and they suggest me that we should go out that night and have some fun, like every weekend, so we went to a near place and party all night, i woke up in the morning and spoke with her by phone, told her about last night, and she was very...

postive people or native people

ok i am a bleiver if you are around more postive people then you will become more postive, but if you are around people who are always so negtive then you will be more negtive toward things and life.i think we can get the postive engery from people just as well as negtive energy off peoplei know when my dad was about to have open heart this lady came in and was doing this thing, she was like this is geather postive engery from each of us and pass it to him. well my family laughed at her except me. then i guess they were surpise that i agreed with her. do you agree or disagree with me.

Good morning mylotters, I am watching the Early Show about this missing young lady. Come to find out they have arrested a sex offender in the case. I personally feel that sex offenders should have a tracking device inserted under their skin once they are released from prison. Some of them change, but most of them don't. Any thoughts??

Please Pray For My Mum's 90 Year Old Friend. She Fell Earlier Today.:-(

Hi Fellow MyLotters. Now, I hope you don't think I am being hypocritical asking this but if anyone is religious out there (I do believe but don't go to Church or anything) could you all pray for my Mum's friend who is in hospital right now? Any religion, I do not mind. What happened was that Annie (the lady in question) fell whilst taking some pots out of a cupboard up above her. She is very tall but does have to stretch in order to reach them but in this instance - unfortunately she fell, breaking her pelvis and her wrist, the latter in 4 places.She is not a relative of ours but is Mum's sister's ex-mother-in-law. Annie has family elsewhere who are now by her bedside in hospital. Annie has been in a lot of pain due to her wrist having to be "set" so it could be treated. My cousin Jill had to go out of the room when this was going on as she is squeemish like me.[em]blush[/em]Annie...

i once had a date scedule with a young lady who suppose to meet up with me at a designated time...at 30 minutes past the time,she was due meet up to me,she doesnt shown up and not even had a single call from her...but then,of course i am quite happy with her impoliteness and inconsederation...i took about 30minutes to leave the restaurant...how long would you waited after leaving...?

I really enjoy that show, last night they set up a blind person getting the wrong change in plain view of everyone. It makes you wonder would you be brave enough to intervene? I would because it would make me so mad, I'd do something, even if I'm just a little old lady.

being protective

I had this feeling I dont know if someone can relate. We are five in the family, I am the youngest, my father died when I was 13. When father died, I had this feeling that my mom is very protective in the sense that I cannot go out with out her permission and with somebody, during my college days I never tried to enrol myself because mom had already there to fix my enrolment, I love to the so called life of being a teenage but I never go out having outing or whatsoever like teenager did, Until now I am 26 I can't go out without somebody I tried to be a rebellious just to tell to her that I am now a full grown lady and tell her that I can manage myself.
